What this site is

This site is an informational product catalog for Klean-Strip Auto, a brand of W. M. Barr & Company, Inc. You can browse products, read how-to guides, and download safety data sheets and other documentation. There is no online store here, no checkout, and no customer account to create.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to send us. If you use the contact form, that means your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. Nothing else on the site asks you for personal information.

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information about requests, such as the page requested, the time, the browser and device type, and an IP address. That information is used to serve the site, keep it available, and diagnose problems.

How we use it

We use what you send us to answer your question and, where it makes sense, to follow up about the products or documentation you asked about. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of its own. Video pages embed a player from a third-party video service; if you press play, that service may set its own cookies and receive information about your visit under its own privacy policy. Nothing is loaded from that service until you interact with the player.

Links to other sites

The store finder and retailer listings link to other companies' websites. Once you follow one of those links you are on their site, under their privacy practices, not ours. We do not control what they collect.

Data retention and security

Messages you send are kept for as long as we need them to handle your request and for ordinary business record keeping. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This site is aimed at trade and professional users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

If you would like to know what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, write to us at the address below and we will handle the request in line with applicable law. You can also simply stop using the contact form; nothing else here collects information about you.
